Our history

From Idea to Medal: The Story of a French Innovation.

Beezen was born from a simple conviction: it is possible to effectively protect people and the environment without resorting to toxic or dangerous solutions. At the crossroads of innovation, ecology, and safety, Beezen offers a new way to deal with pests, particularly the Asian hornet.

History

BeeZen Prototype

The story of Beezen begins with a very practical situation. Its inventor, Manuel Augusto, found himself faced with a hornet's nest in the eaves of his house. Like many homeowners, he was looking for an effective solution, but quickly came to the same conclusions: harsh chemicals, risky, costly, or environmentally unfriendly methods.

History

Product creation

Faced with this impasse, Manuel decides to come up with an alternative himself. From this thinking, BeeZen is born: a tool that is at once simple, ingenious, and radically different, designed to intervene remotely, safely, and without insecticides.

History

Awarded at the Lépine Competition

This innovation is quickly recognized for its originality and practical usefulness. In 2023, BeeZen receives a gold medal at the Concours Lépine, rewarding an invention born from hands-on experience and designed to solve a real-world problem.

History

Commercialization V1

Buoyed by this success at the Lépine Competition, the adventure takes on a new dimension with the launch of the first version of BeeZen on the market. The invention leaves the workshop to reach the hands of its first users, confirming the market's appetite for this eco-friendly solution. This entrepreneurial success and Manuel Augusto's ingenuity do not go unnoticed locally: the town of Montussan, proud to count this inventor among its citizens, the mayor of Montussan, Mr. Frédéric DUPIC, awards him the town's medal of honor. This symbolic distinction anchors the project in its territory while celebrating the journey made since the discovery of the initial hornet's nest.

History

Creation of V2

Always listening, Manuel returns to the drawing board to create V2 of BeeZen. The major addition of the Blockflow system strengthens the structure and optimizes usability. A direct evolution, driven by real-world use, for formidable efficiency.

History

Television appearance

The new version is accompanied by major media spotlight: the entrepreneur's appearance on a television show. This national exposure not only validates the relevance of the new version, but also boosts the brand's recognition among the general public and investors.

Why BeeZen?

The Asian hornet has become a real scourge. An invasive species, it directly threatens bees, disrupts ecosystems, and poses a real risk to people when nests are established near homes.

BeeZen offers a completely different approach. It is not about indiscriminate extermination, but about intelligent regulation, with a tool designed to be selective, sustainable, and reusable.

My ambition was simple: to transform a dangerous procedure into a safe, fast, and accessible one for everyone through mechanical ingenuity.
